Source Audio C4 Synth Pedal

The Source Audio C4 Synth Pedal packs the sound-design capabilities of a modular synthesizer into a compact, highly versatile effects pedal for guitar and bass. Its powerful four-voice synth engine delivers everything from vintage analogue-style bass and lead tones to aggressive, metallic synth sounds, sequenced patterns and complex, evolving textures. With three oscillator waveforms, intelligent harmonization, monophonic and polyphonic pitch shifting, and an extensive selection of filters and modulation effects, the C4 goes far beyond conventional guitar synthesis. Its fast, accurate tracking allows it to respond naturally to your playing, making it equally suitable for rhythmic synth bass lines, expressive leads and experimental sound design.

The C4 features six directly accessible preset slots, with access to 128 MIDI-addressable factory presets, and offers extensive customisation through Source Audio's free Neuro 3 Desktop Editor and mobile app. The software provides control over four independent voices, envelope followers, low-frequency oscillators and two programmable 16-step sequencers, allowing you to build and save custom patches or explore presets created by the wider C4 community. Stereo inputs and outputs enable independent panning of the synth voices, while switchable true or buffered bypass, USB-MIDI connectivity and external expression control provide additional flexibility for live performance and studio use. Housed in a compact, durable anodised aluminium enclosure, the C4 is a powerful tool for players looking to expand their instrument's sonic range well beyond traditional effects.
