The Rathbone R3ECE is a Grand-Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar built with advanced Double Top construction. Its sound table is made from two very thin layers of ebony with a carbon fibre lattice in between, which helps the top stay strong while staying very responsive. This gives the guitar plenty of resonance and volume with a balanced, lively tone.
The back and sides are also ebony, which adds brightness and clarity to the sound, especially in the upper frequencies. The body size and shape provide solid bass response without losing note definition, making this guitar versatile for different playing styles from strumming to fingerstyle.
It has a cutaway design for easier access to the higher frets and a built-in three-band EQ with a tuner, so you can shape your amplified tone without extra gear. The neck is made from mahogany and the fretboard from rosewood, giving it a familiar feel that many players enjoy.
