The Patina PS-7 SGR R is a Sherwood Green ST-style guitar built around a versatile HSS pickup configuration. Its two custom hand-wound Alnico V single-coils deliver clear, articulate and sparkling tones in the neck and middle positions, while the 16K-output Alnico V humbucker at the bridge provides considerably more output and body for driven tones, riffs and heavier playing. The pickups are paired with Alpha potentiometers, a traditional tremolo bridge and 1:19-ratio locking tuners, giving the PS-7 both the familiar tonal flexibility of an S-style guitar and improved tuning stability. The body is made from lightweight paulownia and finished in a nitrocellulose lacquer with a deliberately reliced Sherwood Green finish, complete with simulated wear and checking for an immediately aged appearance.
The quarter-sawn roasted maple neck features a comfortable Modern C profile and satin finish, paired with a rosewood fingerboard, 13.75" radius and 42 mm bone nut. Its 22 jumbo stainless-steel frets have rounded edges for a smooth playing feel and excellent long-term durability, while luminescent side dots make position markers easy to see on darker stages. With a 25.5" scale length and double-action truss rod, the PS-7 SGR R combines familiar ST-style ergonomics with modern appointments such as roasted maple, stainless-steel frets and locking hardware.
