The Patina PS-4 FRD is a versatile S-style guitar built around a lightweight Paulownia body with a thin nitrocellulose finish and a quarter-sawn roasted maple neck. The satin-finished Modern C neck, 13.75" radius, 25.5" scale and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets give it a smooth, comfortable playing feel, while the rosewood fingerboard and luminescent side dots add a practical touch for low-light playing. A bone nut, double-action truss rod and 1:19 locking chrome tuners round out a stable, performance-ready setup.
The HSS pickup configuration pairs two custom handwound Alnico V single-coils with a higher-output Alnico V humbucker at the bridge, covering everything from clear, shimmering cleans to tighter, more powerful overdriven tones. Alpha pots, a 5-way selector and 1-volume, 2-tone control layout give plenty of room to shape the sound, while the tremolo bridge adds expressive pitch control without compromising stability. Finished in Fiesta Red with chrome hardware, the PS-4 FRD combines vintage-inspired character with modern touches such as stainless steel frets, locking tuners and a roasted maple neck.
