The Ibanez Q54 Quest Series is a headless electric guitar built for comfort, versatility and modern playing styles. It has a solid nyatoh body that keeps the weight light and resonant, making it easy to handle for long sessions or creative playing. The neck is a three-piece roasted maple and bubinga build with a Wizard C profile that feels smooth and balanced under your hand. The roasted birdseye maple fingerboard adds a distinctive look and a comfortable playing surface.
This model uses an HSS pickup configuration with two R1 single-coil pickups at the neck and middle positions and a Q58 humbucker at the bridge. That setup gives you a range of tones from clear, articulate single-coil sounds to fuller humbucking power. The dyna-MIX9 switching system with the Alter switch expands your tonal options further, letting you combine pickups in different ways without added complexity.
The Q54 also includes features that support practical performance, such as dual Mono-Tune bridges and a custom string lock for stable tuning and easy string changes. With 24 frets and a 25.5-inch scale, it handles both rhythm and lead parts comfortably.
