The DigiTech Whammy HammerOn is a versatile pitch-shifting pedal that expands your playing possibilities with instantaneous pitch jumps controlled by two footswitches. Rather than smoothly bending between notes like a traditional Whammy, the HammerOn shifts directly to a selected interval, letting you create hands-free hammer-ons, rapid trills, harmonies and unexpected melodic leaps. With a fully chromatic four-octave pitch range and 16 selectable intervals, it can produce anything from subtle octave accents and harmonised riffs to dissonant, glitchy textures and unconventional lead lines. Its polyphonic pitch shifting also allows you to transpose full chords, making it useful for everything from creative riff writing to alternative tunings and experimental sound design.

The HammerOn features seven operating modes, including Hammer-On, Harmony-On, Impossible and Sequence, offering a wide range of performance and sound-design options in a single pedal. Activate the Trill function to automate rapid alternation between pitches, or use the sequence modes to create multi-note patterns and rhythmic, synth-like guitar parts. The Dry+ control blends in your original signal for added harmonic depth, while tap-tempo control lets you synchronise trill effects to your playing. Housed in a rugged metal enclosure, the pedal features dual momentary footswitches, a 6.3 mm mono input and output, true bypass switching, and a 9V DC power supply included.
