The Alvarez RD26CE is a dreadnought acoustic-electric from Alvarez’s Regent Series, combining a traditional full-size body with electronics for amplified performance. Its spruce top and African mahogany back and sides produce a balanced, projecting tone with a strong low end and clear upper frequencies, making it well suited to strumming, rhythm playing and singer-songwriter applications. The Standard Scalloped X bracing allows the soundboard to respond dynamically, while the natural gloss finish, ivory ABS binding and traditional dreadnought shape give the guitar a classic acoustic appearance.
The RD26CE features a mahogany neck with a satin finish, Techwood fingerboard and bridge, and PPS synthetic bone nut and saddle. Its 25.5" scale length, 43 mm (1 11/16") nut width and 20 frets provide a familiar, comfortable playing feel, with the slightly slimmer neck profile of the Regent Series making it particularly accessible for newer players. The guitar is equipped with Alvarez's SYS250 pickup/EQ system with built-in tuner, allowing it to be connected directly to an amplifier or PA.
