Alvarez RC26

The Alvarez RC26 is a classical nylon-string acoustic guitar from Alvarez’s Regent Series, featuring a traditional body shape with a spruce top and African mahogany back and sides. The spruce top provides a clear, articulate response, while the mahogany body adds warmth and a balanced midrange, making it well suited to classical repertoire, fingerstyle playing and learning foundational guitar techniques. Its traditional Spanish fan bracing is designed to support the top’s vibration and tonal resonance, while the natural gloss finish, ivory ABS binding and understated detailing give the instrument a timeless classical appearance.

The RC26 features a mahogany neck with a satin finish, a Techwood fingerboard and bridge, and 19 frets with a traditional 12th-fret neck-to-body joint. Its 650 mm (25.59") scale length and wide 52 mm (2 1/16") nut provide the string spacing associated with a conventional classical guitar, allowing room for fingerstyle techniques and independent note articulation. A PPS synthetic bone nut and saddle contribute to consistent string contact, while the chrome die-cast tuning machines allow for precise tuning adjustments. The guitar comes with an Alvarez 15 mm Duo-Foam Deluxe gig bag, making it a practical option for lessons, practice and everyday playing.
