For musicians who love the fat, punchy tone of the original P-90 single coil pickup,
but want the noise-free advantage of a humbucker.
This is a ‘vertical humbucker’ version of the famous Gibson P-90 pickup with its matching output stacked coils acting as a hum-cancelling device in the same way as a standard side-by-side humbucker. But with much better high end response than a side-by-side humbucker, due to its narrow focused magnetic field.
It can deliver screaming solos when overdriven and crisp, crunchy rhythm tones that really stand out.
Features four conductor wiring for series, parralel and split coil operatio and is fully wax potted to eliminate any unwanted microphonic feedback.
