Designed especially for vintage-style, single-channel amplifiers pushed into natural breakup, the Evolution Orange reduces the signal level and cuts midrange frequencies to lower the amount of distortion while retaining a punchy, articulate tone. Its active three-band EQ provides extensive tonal control, with up to ±15 dB of adjustment at 100 Hz for bass, 400 Hz for midrange and 7 kHz for treble. This makes it possible to dial in cleaner, more open sounds from an amp that already has the drive and character you love.

Four intuitive controls, Volume, Midrange, Bass and Treble, make the Evolution Orange equally useful as a tone-shaping tool or a midrange boost when used with higher settings. Whether you want to switch between driven and cleaner sounds, refine the response of a cranked amplifier, or add focused mids to help your guitar cut through a mix, the pedal offers a flexible alternative to conventional overdrive and boost designs. It features true-bypass switching, a compact metal enclosure and a 9V DC centre-negative power connection, with a current draw of approximately 10 mA and support for supply voltages between 8 and 18V DC. The Evolution Orange Underdrive is a practical solution for players who want to get more tonal versatility out of an amplifier's natural overdrive.
